Kidde KN-COPP-3 Nighthawk
Plug-In Carbon Monoxide Alarm
The unit detects carbon monoxide levels
from thirty to 999 parts per million. Its low-profile design
does not stand out when connect to any wall outlet.
The unit plugs straight into AC outlets for simple setup,
and comes supplied with a 9-volt battery for backup during
power outages. Its loud, 85-decibel alarm is bound to alert the
entire house when safe carbon monoxide levels are breached.
The Nighthawk is UL listed, and includes a constant digital
readout of carbon monoxide levels, as well as peak-level memory
display, and a test / reset button. It can also be stationed on
a tabletop with the included 8-foot AC twine.
This Carbon Monoxide Alarm offers digital display permitting
simple viewing of carbon monoxide levels. The KN-COPP-3
features a hide-a-way wire that allows for multiple
installation probabilities. I had a new furnace installed
lately, and the installers made a boo boo. Without detectors in
the house I would never have known, and my folks could have
suffered seriously ( ie someone might have become unwell or
maybe died.
We had had them for years and they read nil.
When we began seeing it detect Corp we knew we had a
difficulty. I strongly reccomend people place a detector on
each occupied level of your home. If something happens you can
get different readings on different levels ( I did ). When
picking a Corp detector be certain to pick an electornic one
with a digital readout. The sole upkeep with a unit like this
one is replacing the backup battery. ( BTW, a backup battery is
a fairly sensible idea.
First Alert SCO501CN-3ST
Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm
It can arise from damaged fireplaces or steam pipes.
It can float ominously from one room to another. It can kill
a whole family whilst they are sleeping.
Though present in our atmosphere, higher concentrations of
it have proved to be lethal. Keep your family safe from both
fire and carbon monoxide poisoning with the 1st Alert ONELINK
battery operated mixture Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm.
The alarms communicate with each other and may offer an
earlier warning of potential danger when folk are in different
locations in the home. The earlier you know, the earlier
emergency responders can be informed, this could help scale
back the possible loss of life and property damage.
In comparison to retrofitting an existing home, First Alert
ONELINK costs a lot less than installing hardwired alarms in
existing walls and / or ceilings. They are cost effective and
simple to install. Extra battery operated alarms could be added
to make a wireless safety network.
